Hurrrgghhhh MY FIRST FAIL. Almost two week with no updates D:
There was a typhoon last Tuesday and Wednesday and I literally did nothing but sit in my room, eat rice, and lose track of the time. Thursday I had one class but we didn’t do much as it was the first and we just talked about pace and such. Thursday night was welcome bowling and I beat the pants off of everyone except one girl. I still got the first place prize as far as the foreign students went so they gave me a clear file with the school’s name and the prettiest chopsticks ever. Friday was a national holiday.
Went to Denny’s (for the first time ever! and in Japan no less lol) on Saturday, and yea, that was seriously the most interesting part of the day. MEAT TASTES SO GOOD WHEN YOU’VE GONE SO LONG WITHOUT IT DD: Sunday we went to the park!
No class on Monday cause I’m cool like that 8D (not really lol, I need to fix that). Tuesday was tiring. I didn’t realize just how exhausting it could be to just concentrate in another language for even a short amount of time and I did it practically all day.
Today was another tiring day. Spent…*counts* 10 hours(?! wth) at the school today, two classes and a bike safety orientation at night. The time between class and orientation was spent studying or talking to everyone who wants me to be their English tutor XD. They were even a few who just passed by CIEP and saw me and came in without any prior knowledge of me being there. I have now told 5 different people I would be their tutor whether they actually get in the program to be conversation partners or not. I also might take an actual job teaching English on Saturdays to housewives and ojii-sans in Seto XD

Not much for today. We were given a campus tour but it was too bright for pictures. A lot of official stuff today and class registering. I was put in the lowest Japanese class but that’s all I was expecting as I completely and utterly failed the written test (I only knew 4 of 15 kanji! :o).
I found a giant thing of milk tea for really cheap!! Super happy~!
I also found Sho in my super market. I couldn’t take a picture cause everyone was already giving me weird looks lol.

There was a lot to do today. Figured out how to ride the train and get to the school,we were given actual prices for the room and board (and it’s soo expensive!! DX), got our school e-mail address, were given all but our Japanese language class and any extra ones, other than the culture classes, that we would want to take. Lipton makes Milk Tea and they give you One Piece key chains!
After the tour of the building with CIEP, we decided to head out on our own to Ozone station and look for the electronic store and 100 yen shop. Found the electronic store (and au phones!) but never could find the 100 yen shop (though we didn’t look too hard). I bought a copy of September’s TV Life and it came with an Arashi poster!! :D
McDonalds tonight because the girl from England doesn’t like the food here :( Poor thing.

There was much eating today. Misonikomi Udon with egg, milk tea, and a dinner box full of all sorts of stuff (I didn’t know what half of it was but it was pretty good!) Met some Arashi fans and one HSJ fan who really didn’t seemed pleased with my choice of idol :|

I didn’t get to take many pictures as I was too busy being bustled around but here’s a few pictures. I’ll make a bit more of an in depth report of the flight and my room when I have more time.
